Weekly Wednesday Writing Wrap-up

Yes, I know, it’s Thursday. Is it much of an excuse to say that I didn’t have time to post yesterday because I was birthday shopping for my son’s birthday today? (I can’t believe he’s 4 already…) No, I thought not.

Well, the week flew by in a blur of family, lack of sleep, and too much coffee. And I have to admit that I haven’t done a lot of writing. I’ve managed to get down the first 1800 words of my as-yet untitled novel, so that’s a start. And I’ve got so many scenes, plots, characters and ideas running around my head that I just wish that I had the TIME to sit down and spend hour after hour writing. I’m so pumped, but am struggling with having a chance to really focus at the moment. I guess it’s just one of those times when “real life” is getting in the way.

So, how about this. Any preference on novel titles? (I realise that I’m asking for thoughts without any reference as to plot, theme, mood etc. But the genre is Urban Fantasy and the main character is a Private Detective. So which title would you pick up off the shelf?) My current thoughts are:

  • Storm Warning
  • Sleep When You’re Dead
  • Grimm Tidings
